(5 of 6) Wall Clock

This is a constructed piece, where the structure comes from fusing several pices together in an overlapping fashion. The back is four pieces left from cutting a circle from an annodized black sheet, positioned in an X shape. To decorate, I cut varying scripts of textured dichro with curved cuts on the length and angled cuts on the ends. These were placed along the edges of the underlying X pieces both to add stucture and hide the seam -- oh yeah, and to be decorative too! I intended to put the points at N,S,E,W, but the back wouldn't cover the clock movement that way. The hands have been painted silver and then with a gloss clearcoat.
